Diagram : cement and concrete production

The diagrams below show the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagram illustrates the process of producing cement and concrete.

In general, there are several steps in order to create cement and concrete with the support of different equipment and ingredients.

To specify, in the first stage, lime stone and clay go into the crusher, followed by the birth of powder. Then, this powder is mixed before being heated and rotated. Subsequently, after such powder is ground into cement, it is packed into bags in the preparation for the creation of concrete.

In the second diagram, a mixture of various ingredients with a measured amount of each is noticed to produce concrete. In detail, 15% of cement, 10% of water, 25% of sand and 50% of gravel are collected and put into a so-called machine concrete mixer where they are evenly rotated. The final result is the appearance of concrete used for construction purposes.

Strikingly, only thanks to the accurate measurement of each ingredient is concrete perfectly produced.
