Many people think that they have enjoyed great technological progress. Others think that this progress has negatively affected people's lives. Do you agree or disagree??

Technological progress has revolutionized the world amazingly. Some people think that thanks to easier access to technology, people can have a more convenient life while others claim that this is responsible for their growing passiveness. In fact, technological innovations bring both pros and cons.

On one hand, there are numerous benefits in the application of advanced technology. Let’s take Internet as an example. Only by using this network are people increasingly connected with each other. As students, they can spend hours surfing face-book to study English for free. In addition, after hard-working hours, humans’ worries are soon melted and submerged into melodious songs available on you-tube for free. To those who even want to make more money, it is simple to click their advertisement clips on a series of online commercial websites. Their products will be known overnight. More important, what I really appreciate about the value of technological progress is so-called equality. I used to be a person of silence who is condemned by social forums for being selfish, uneducated, singly money-oriented and unable to teach IELTS. However, thanks to the face-book, I make friends with thousands of people who see as a real friend of savvy and depth; some of them are even overseas students. My days of suffering of unfairness have been swallowed.

On the other hand, disadvantages are noticeable. First of all, due to sticking to computers for too long, people are vulnerable to obesity. Surveys have shown that since the appearance of advanced technology, the amount of people experiencing obesity has increased significantly. Being thrown into a world of ceaseless information, some of us may get lost and harbor wrong conceptions of things. Another drawback is its super-power which can take people to the sky and push them into abyss. I have experienced the viral and online articles which involves the usage of social forums on the Internet, tell bad things about me, and since then, I am inequitably viewed as a mere girl of stupidity and recklessness. The virtual world has cloned people into those who are passive thinkers, couch potatoes, time-waster, and confusing wanderers, perhaps
